Last month, the Booker Group was delighted to host a cocktail-making party at Engel & Voelkers Chicago on Clark Street. The event, designed especially for first-time home buyers, was more than just an evening of mixing drinks. It was about mixing stories, ideas, and dreams for the future. The room was full of laughter, learning, and connection, reminding us why gathering in person is such a powerful part life.
In a world where so much communication happens online, sharing space together feels like a luxury we cannot afford to lose. When you think about it, real estate isn’t just about properties—it’s about people, relationships, and building a sense of belonging.
We chose cocktail-making because it’s one of those small but meaningful details that can transform a house into a home. Teaching someone how to craft a signature drink for their new space isn’t just fun, it’s symbolic. It’s about creating rituals, celebrating milestones, and adding presence to the place where life unfolds.

With architectural drawings complete, the townhouse flip on Dodge in Evanston is moving ahead rapidly. While standing in what will become the kitchen area, our contractor, architect and Andrew, Booker Group's talented project manager, discussed all the options.
