I was honored to serve as the 2024 Chairperson of the Woman’s Club of Evanston’s Dreams Delivered Prom Boutique. This annual event, which collects hundreds of prom dresses and accessories, serves more than 100 students every April. |
After Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022, Ellis and I harnessed our Buy Nothing- Evanston Facebook Group, which we created in 2021, to collect needed supplies for Ukrainian refugees. |

Last December, one of our clients allowed us to use their empty office space to host a one-day pop-up store where people could "shop" for free. We collected hundreds of toys, clothes and housewares. Afterward, we donated the few unclaimed materials to the Salvation Army.
