There are so many things you can do to get your home ready for winter and make it as energy efficient as possible. (If you need vendors for some of these jobs, I have wonderful referrals. Just give me a call!)

Reverse your ceiling fans. Check the smoke detectors and change batteries.
Clean your chimney and fireplace to get it ready for use. Check your windows and doors for leaks. Organize your garage or storage. Bleed hot water radiators. Change your furnace filter and have your HVAC serviced. Store or cover your outdoor furniture. Got a snowblower? Make sure it is ready for the first snow. When the temperature drops below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, allow the faucets to drip on any sinks that sit on exterior walls.

An Update on Our Buy Nothing Holiday Pop Up Shop |
Our Buy Nothing Holiday Pop Up Shop was a huge success. We had over 100 shoppers and gave away an estimated 85% of the donated items. We could not have been as successful with out our volunteers.
